About Me

At Doyle Innovations, LLC, I apply decades of technical knowledge to help organizations realize their most ambitious goals. My professional career started in research and development with the Air Force Research Laboratories, Space Vehicles Directorate, and transitioned into support of space acquisitions as a System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA). My educational background is diversified between multiple fields in Mechanical Engineering B.S/M.S. degrees ('08 from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology) and Electrical Engineering Ph.D. ('11 from University of New Mexico). I have developed numerous tools and technologies in a variety of fields ranging from program management/analytics, consumer electronics, structural health monitoring, metamaterials, AR/VR, additive manufacturing, and satellite component development. These products have been detailed in over 80 publications, protected by several patents, showcased on the news, or flown on multiple space flights with NASA and AFRL. In addition, I have worked on over 150 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) projects and helped advise other technology developers on addressing new challenges. I'm proud to bring my expertise and knowledge to the table to help you succeed by identifying practical solutions and working towards impactful minimal viable products that enable transition opportunities.

Project Advisement and Strategy

Do you have a project or idea that you’d love to bring to life? My time in the labs has given me access to numerous opportunities to engage with developers at all stages of capability maturation and venues to provide insight into approaches and ideas on how to address different challenges. The most critical element for these engagements is diverse expertise-informed ideas and trust in the team members to be considerate of potential and protected intellectual property.  Years of government service have drilled into habits of how to support teams with game-changing ideas while being mindful of their data ownership. To discuss how we can engage further, please get in touch.

Project Planning

Once you have your idea matured into a capability vision, it's time to plan out a series of parallel efforts to mature elements of that vision in a responsive and relevant timeframe to support iterative engagements and deliveries to relevant stakeholders that support the transition. Let me work with your team on panning out the various Developmental OODA (Observe-Orient-Decide-Act) Loops needed to traverse from vision to implementation and help your team track and evaluate progress toward meeting long-term schedules by applying transition analytics to your approach.

Minimal Viable Product Demos and Prototypes

Developmental plans should result in routine deliverables that serve a purpose towards the vision's final transition and implementation. If your team needs help with one of these MVPs, allow me to support you by helping to solve technical/material challenges, tackle cost-effective prototypes, and review progress as an external reviewer to offer a new perspective. These MVPs can be essential to securing support for further investment or answering critical for answering business model questions that allow teams to pivot or cancel impractical ideas before they drag out and waste valuable resources.
